🆘 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐄𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘, 𝟐/𝟓 🆘 ⏰ Senior 𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 must have a hold 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟏 𝐏𝐌 or he will be euthanized. ➡️ We need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help.

📝 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: 𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 was picked up as a stray on 1/29/25 after it was reported that he was in a resident's yard. Notes indicate that he seems frightened in the shelter environment as he has been trembling and tucking his tail, but he is able to be leashed and he will walk slowly, following a trail of treats offered on the ground. He would benefit from a stable home where he can feel safe and where he is given the care and attention that he needs! Please be the person to give 𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 the forever home that he very much deserves!
𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 is on the euthanasia list for "Medical (Senior, Heartworms) and behavior (timid, tense body when approached, dilated pupils, became flighty avoiding the handler from leashing him when outside in runs, a second handler had to assist)." The shelter will help with heartworm medication if he is adopted through them. His life should not end in the shelter for that reason. 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 open up your heart and home to 𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃!
Please adopt, foster, or rescue 𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 and please share this post to help save his precious life before the deadline! Please also pledge, if you are able, using the link in this post, so that rescues have the funds they need to continue their important work.
📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: 1/29/2025 INTAKE: 1 med black stray pit in seniors backyard since Monday and will not leave 1/31/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: Dog was at the front of the kennel as i leash him to clean he slowly walked out the kennel trembeling 2/2/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: very tensed, tail down, semi loose leash, dilated pupils, does eat treats 2/3/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: Tense body in kennel. I opened the kennel leashing him and he slowly walked out with his head lowered. He ate the treats that were on the ground as we walked so I began to toss more and he continued to follow. I walked him outside and placed him in a run. When retrieving him from the run, he became very flightly avoiding the leash and running around the runs. Another ACT entered the run and helped leash him. He walked loosely on the way back to the kennel.
